Dr. Nikhila Pachani has spent over a decade quietly building one of Saurashtra's most experienced interventional cardiology practices — combining tertiary-care training, high-volume cathlab work, and a deep commitment to honest patient care.
Born and trained in India, Dr. Nikhila completed her MBBS from Rural Medical College, Loni in 2008, MD General Medicine from MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai in 2011, and her super-specialty DM in Cardiology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Kochi in 2015 — one of the country's premier cardiac training programmes.
Her academic career began at U.N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology in Ahmedabad as Assistant Professor, where she developed the high-volume cathlab experience that defines her practice today. She went on to serve as Associate Professor at P.D.U. Medical College, Rajkot, and as senior consultant at HCG and Plexus Hospitals — before joining Backbone Medicity Super Specialty Hospital, Rajkot in January 2024 as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist.
In November 2024, she cleared the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Licence Examination, becoming eligible for cardiac practice in Dubai. She remains based in Rajkot, where she continues her outreach OPDs and free camps across more than 18 towns in Saurashtra and Kutch.
Philosophy
The work should be done properly, and the patient should receive the right treatment. Earnings come second.
