On the occasion of the 2nd World Meditation Day, Dr. Nikhila Pachani — Consultant Interventional Cardiologist based in Rajkot, Gujarat — participated in the International Conference on Farming, Naturopathy, Yoga, Meditation & Arogya Fair 2025. The event was held on 20th and 21st December 2025 at the Gujarat Natural Farming & Science University Campus, Halol, Vadodara, Gujarat.

A Step Towards a Healthier India

The conference brought together doctors, wellness experts, farming scientists, yoga practitioners, and policymakers under one roof. The shared goal was simple: to explore how natural farming, naturopathy, yoga, and meditation can work together to improve the health of people across India.

The event was supported by the Ministry of Ayush and co-sponsored by Maswad and Panchayat Institution-Halol — reflecting strong government backing for holistic and preventive healthcare.

What the Conference Was About

Discussions at the conference focused on how lifestyle choices — including what we eat, how we move, and how we manage stress — have a direct impact on our overall health, including heart health. For a cardiologist like Dr. Pachani, this message is especially relevant. Stress, poor diet, and a sedentary lifestyle are among the leading risk factors for heart disease in India.

Yoga and meditation, when practised regularly, are known to support healthy blood pressure, reduce stress, and promote overall cardiovascular wellness. Natural and chemical-free farming also plays a role in providing cleaner, more nutritious food to communities.

Dr. Pachani's Participation

Dr. Pachani was seen addressing the gathering at the conference stage, wearing a sash recognising her participation. She was joined by yoga expert Sonali Malviya, along with other dignitaries and experts seated on the dais.

Her presence at such an event highlights her commitment not just to treating heart conditions in the cath lab, but also to promoting preventive cardiology and healthy living in the wider community across Gujarat.

Why This Matters for Patients in Gujarat

Events like the Arogya Fair 2025 remind us that good heart health begins long before a hospital visit. Simple steps — eating natural food, practising yoga, meditating daily, and managing stress — can go a long way in keeping your heart healthy.

If you have any concerns about your heart health or wish to understand how lifestyle changes can help you, consider booking a consultation with a qualified cardiologist.
