Dr. Nikhila Pachani Honoured as Chief Guest at Kalaripayattu Certificate Distribution Program
Dr. Nikhila Pachani, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist based in Rajkot, Gujarat, was recently invited as the Chief Guest at the Kalaripayattu Training Camp & Certificate Distribution Program organised jointly by CVV Kalari Sangham and Maa Vatsalya Charitable Trust.
The event was held at Kerala Samajam Hall, Makarpura, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The program celebrated participants who completed their Kalaripayattu training — an ancient Indian martial art form known for its focus on physical fitness, flexibility, mental discipline, and cultural heritage.
A Moment of Pride for Fitness and Culture
Dr. Pachani expressed her gratitude for the invitation, noting how deeply she values events that promote fitness, discipline, and cultural traditions. Kalaripayattu is one of India's oldest martial art forms, originating from Kerala, and its practice is widely recognised for building strength, coordination, and mental focus — all of which contribute positively to overall health and well-being.
The event also carried a strong message of women's empowerment, with participants and organisers coming together to celebrate dedication and hard work. Mrs. Unnati Desai, titled Mrs. Unity World Asia Earth, was also present as a distinguished personality at the event.
Beyond the Cath Lab
While Dr. Pachani is known across Rajkot and Saurashtra for her work in interventional cardiology, her participation in community and cultural events reflects a broader commitment — supporting healthy, active lifestyles and empowering people, especially women, to take charge of their well-being.
Physical activity, discipline, and mental wellness are pillars of good heart health, and events like this serve as a reminder that staying active and connected to community traditions can be a meaningful part of a healthy life.
