The world's largest government-funded health scheme — Ayushman Bharat PMJAY — has crossed 50 crore card holders. Senior citizens above 70 years are now covered under the new Ayushman Vay Vandana Card, regardless of income status.
Cardiac procedures covered
Many cardiac procedures are empanelled in network hospitals across India, including coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty, pacemaker and AICD implantation, and select structural interventions. Eligible patients should check their status on the official PMJAY portal or app before admission.
