Cardio Diagnostics, in partnership with Aimil Ltd. and Dr. Lal PathLabs, has begun rolling out PrecisionCHD in India — a blood test that combines epigenetics, genetics, and artificial intelligence to detect coronary heart disease at a molecular level.
What it does differently
Unlike a standard lipid profile or angiogram, PrecisionCHD looks at DNA methylation patterns and genetic markers associated with coronary disease. It is designed to pick up both obstructive and non-obstructive forms of coronary disease — including the subtle, early disease that traditional angiograms can miss.
Why it matters for you
New screening options like PrecisionCHD may help identify silent coronary disease earlier, especially for high-risk Indians — those with a family history of premature heart attack, diabetes, or a strong smoking history. It does not replace clinical evaluation; discuss with your cardiologist whether you are a candidate.
